Resum

Against the possibility of being shot down, neighbors organized to claim its preservation as a neighborhood community facility. After long years of negotiations, the noblest building of the industrial complex was preserved and rehabilitated as a civic center, currently known as Can Felipa. A square and a social housing building were built on the surrounding plot. In order to assess the impact of the presence of this space on the urban weave, from the perspective of urban design, a socio-physical analysis of the immediate territory was carried out. The research made possible to develop a notion regarding the multiple aspects and situations that occur in it.
