[spa] En nuestro ordenamiento jurídico, la participación de los
ciudadanos legos en la Administración de Justicia se prevé como una
garantía constitucional más; y aunque a estas alturas el debate de su
aparente “inspiración” anglosajona parece superado ya, no obstante, y
aprovechando el 25 aniversario de la Ley del Tribunal del Jurado, procede
recuperarlo una vez más para trazar una comparativa entre ambas formas de
entender la figura del Jurado Popular y observar la deriva que han tenido
ambos modelos.
[eng] In our legal system, the participation of citizens in the Administration of Justice is provided as one more constitutional guarantee; and although at this point the debate on its apparent Anglo-Saxon “inspiration” seems to be over, nevertheless, and because of the 25th anniversary of the Jury Act, it is necessary to recover it once again to draw a comparison between both ways of understanding the figure of the Jury and watch the evolution of both systems.
