Propuesta de un programa de español como segunda lengua para la escuela primaria de un colegio de bachillerato internacional (IB)

[spa] Los estudiantes de colegios internacionales, que con frecuencia cambian de lugar de residencia, a menudo se enfrentan al reto de asistir a centros educativos, en donde parte de su educación es impartida en una lengua distinta a la materna. Este es el caso de los estudiantes extranjeros que llegan a países hispanohablantes, cuya lengua materna no es el español. Muchas instituciones no cuentan con las herramientas necesarias para atender estas necesidades, de modo que se adopten las adecuaciones curriculares pertinentes. La presente propuesta didáctica se centra en la creación de un programa de español como segunda lengua, para un colegio IB en Bogotá- Colombia. Para su realización se han tenido en cuenta conceptos de enseñanza y creación de programas de lengua para niños, el marco curricular y conceptual del IB y el PEP, el Plan Curricular del Instituto Cervantes y el Marco Común Europeo de Referencia. Posteriormente, se ha verificado la pertinencia de la malla a través de una rúbrica y entrevistas a colectivos del centro, evidenciando una gran aceptación de parte de la comunidad educativa. La propuesta se percibe como novedosa y marca un importante cambio de paradigma en la enseñanza del español en el colegio, pues permite acoger a un mayor número de estudiantes extranjeros, garantizando el reconocimiento de los perfiles lingüísticos.

[eng] International school students who frequently change their place of residence often face the challenge of attending schools, where part of their education is taught in a language other than their mother tongue. This is the case of foreign students who come to Spanish-speaking countries, whose mother tongue is not Spanish. Many institutions do not have the necessary tools to meet these needs, so that, the convenient curricular adjustments are adopted. This didactic proposal focuses on the creation of a Spanish as a second language program for an IB school in Bogotá- Colombia. For carrying it out, concepts of teaching and creation of language programs for children have been explored, as well as the curricular and conceptual framework of the IB and the PYP, the Curricular Plan of the Cervantes Institute and the Common European Framework of Reference have been taken into account. Subsequently, the relevance of the mesh has been verified through a rubric and interviews with groups of the center, evidencing a great acceptance on behalf of the educational community. The proposal is perceived as novel and marks an important paradigm shift in the teaching of Spanish at the school, as it allows a greater number of foreign students to be accommodated, guaranteeing the recognition of linguistic profiles.
