Estrategias del Arte Contemporáneo Frente a la Violencia y las Relaciones de Poder

Abstract

[spa] Esta tesis investiga procesos de producción de diferentes artistas referentes, abordando fundamentalmente las relaciones de poder desde diferentes contextos, en donde esta vinculación se convierte en el desencadenante de proyectos artísticos que pendulan entre lo bello y lo siniestro. Las obras aquí estudiadas, tratan de dar una visión del panorama actual de las artes plásticas, a partir del análisis de diversas formas de violencia, que parecen naturalizarse y camuflarse en el mundo cotidiano por medio del uso de los nuevos recursos comunicacionales. Los autores estudiados proponen tomar conciencia de esta manipulación y con sus proyectos aportan nuevas miradas que nos ayudar a revertir el statu quo.

[eng] This thesis investigates the production processes of different leading artists, fundamentally addressing power relations from different contexts, where this connection becomes the trigger for artistic projects that fluctuate between the beautiful and the sinister. The works studied here try to give a vision of the current panorama of the plastic arts based on analyzing various forms of violence, which seem naturalized and camouflaged in the everyday world through new communication resources. The authors propose becoming aware of this manipulation and, with their projects, provide new perspectives to help us reverse the status quo.
