We are pleased to present this book of abstracts, a compilation of the idees and research on the occasion of the Scientific Conference for the Creation of Social Sustainable Scenarios. This event was conceived as an interdisciplinary encounter: a space for researchers and doctoral students to bring their expertise to the table and collectively imagine a viable future, and outline the steps needed to achieve it.
The event allowed for the Integration of cross-cutting visions of knowledge to define realistic sustainability scenarios. Each abstract published within this volume represents a distinct vantage point addressing a central, vital question: What will the future look like, and how can research contribute to building a world that is ecologically sound, economically fair, socially just, and technologically thoughtful?
