Arqueologia rural a Eivissa: El cas de ses Feixes

[cat] L’objecte del present treball és dur a terme l’estat de la qüestió sobre els diferents treballs realitzats sobre ses Feixes (Eivissa, Illes Balears). Aquest és un indret d’interès mediambiental i arqueològic degut al fet que els àrab-berbers van idear un sistema de sèquies. Aquestes van permetre transformar els aiguamolls del Pla de Vila en terres cultivables al segle X i seran utilitzades fins el segle XX. S’analitzarà la bibliografia, mapes i fotografies que ens ajudin a reconstruir la història agrària d’aquesta zona de l’illa de forma diacrònica. L’enfocament és multidisciplinar i abasta diferents qüestions, destacant la Geologia, l’anàlisi morfològic i paisatgístic des de l’Arqueologia hidràulica i del paisatge, la Toponímia, l’Etnologia, l’Arquitectura, el Pla especial per conservar l’indret i la Palinologia. A més, s’exploraran les aportacions que l’Arqueologia podria oferir a l’indret a l’actualitat. Per concloure el treball es plantejaran quines actuacions pensem que haurien de fer-se per aprofundir en la informació històrica de ses Feixes, dignificant el valor patrimonial que conté.

[eng] The interest of the present work is to create the current status of research analyzing the studies about ses Feixes (Ibiza, Balearic Islands). It’s an area of environmental and archaeological interest, due to the fact that the arab-berbers devised a system of ditches to transform the wetlands of the Pla de Vila into arable land in the tenth century, which were used until the twentieth century. The bibliography, maps and photographs that we will analyze will help to reconstruct the agrarian history of Ibiza in a diachronic way. The approach is multidisciplinary and covers different issues, highlighting Geology, morphological and landscape analysis from hydraulic and landscape Archeology, Toponymy, Ethnology, Architecture, the “Pla especial” to preserve the region and Palynology. We will study what contributions can Archeology offer to study the site in the present. To conclude the work, we will consider what actions we think should be taken to delve into the historical information of ses Feixes, dignifying it’s cultural value.
