L’aula d’acollida: proposta didàctica per millorar el funcionament de l’aula d’acollida de l’Institut Fort Pius

Els alumnes nouvinguts són una realitat innegable a les escoles de Catalunya i és per això que s‟ha de tenir un sistema adequat per acollir-los. La Generalitat de Catalunya va posar en marxa les aules d‟acollida, que són un recurs que ha de permetre una atenció emocional i curricular personalitzada i un aprenentatge intensiu de la llengua catalana. Sembla un bon recurs, però, funcionen realment les aules d‟acollida?
A partir de l‟observació i la intervenció en les pràctiques del Màster de formació del professorat es va poder observar que l‟aula d‟acollida de l‟institut Fort Pius no era tan productiva com hauria de ser, i per aquest motiu en aquest treball es planteja una manera diferent de treballar. Actualment els alumnes treballen els dossiers Comencem de la Generalitat i el que es presenta a continuació és una seqüència didàctica competencial adaptada a partir de la seqüència didàctica de l‟aula ordinària.
Newly arrived students are an undeniable reality in the schools of Catalonia and we must therefore have a proper system to receive them. The Autonomous Government of Catalonia initiated the „welcome classrooms‟ (aules d’acollida in Catalan), which are a resource that should offer a personalized emotional and educational care and a Catalan intensive learning. It seems a good resource, but do the „welcome classrooms‟ actually work? From the observation and intervention during the Master‟s internship, we noticed that the „welcome classroom‟ in the Fort Pius High School was not as productive as it should be, and that is the reason why in this dissertation we present a different way of working with the students. The students are currently working on the Comencem dossiers, which are given by the Autonomous Government of Catalonia, and what is presented below is a competence-based didactic sequence adapted from the ordinary classroom didactic sequence.
