[cat] Aquest treball és una contribució a un estudi de cas sobre l’Álex, un nen autista de 12 anys que té un lexicó principalment nominal trilingüe (castellà, català i anglès) i ampliable, però que ni parla ni entén cap llengua. Comunicativament, és com els autistes no verbals. A més, pot llegir fluidament, tot i la manca de comprensió (hiperlèxia) en les tres llengües. La seva pronúncia, però, resulta subtilment estranya. Per a aclarir si el que ho fa és la (no) aplicació dels processos fonològics entre paraules, s’ha analitzat amb Praat la lectura d’una vintena de frases en castellà i català en què apareixen representats alguns d'aquests processos fonològics (100 ocurrències per llengua). Els resultats mostren que generalment l’Álex no aplica els processos fonològics. Nogensmenys, hi ha una taxa de realització significativament superior tant d’aproximantitzacions com de processos que afecten sons amb punt d’articulació labial.
[eng] This paper is a contribution to an ongoing case study about Álex, a 12-year-old autistic child who possesses an expandable trilingual (Spanish, Catalan, and English), mainly nominal lexicon, but who is unable to speak or understand any language. In the realm of communication, he is like a non-verbal autist. Moreover, he can read fluently, despite the lack of comprehension (hyperlexia) in all three languages. His diction, however, is slightly strange to the ear. To shed light on whether this is caused by the (lack of) realizations of phonological processes, the reading of twenty sentences in Spanish and Catalan in which some of these processes appear (100 for each language) has been analyzed with Praat. Results show that Álex generally does not apply phonological processes. Nevertheless, there is a significantly higher rate of realizations in approximantizations as well as in processes involving sounds with a labial place of articulation.
