Abstract
[eng] This contribution analyses the history of a series of Roman inscriptions located in Barcelona that mention Lucius Licinius Secundus, accensus (person in charge under magistrates) of Lucius Licinius Sura, the important consul under the emperor Trajan. We will assess the seven inscriptions copied by the historian Jeroni Pujades in the Coronica General del Principat de Cathalunya, published in 1609. The scope is to configure the urban space in which these antiquities were located and to follow the lines of transmission through the modern records. By doing so, we will offer an overview of the value of ancient heritage in 16th century and its integration into the urban landscape.
