dc.description.abstract[en] Epidemiological models have been used by scientists for decades to calculate the number of people infected with diseases that affect large populations. The aim of this report is to introduce us to the world of stochastic processes and, in particular, of branching processes. We will apply the theory seen in this report in a study on the control of Covid-19 spread on university campuses, both in the rooms and in the classrooms based on the article Controlling the spread of COVID-19 on college campuses.ca
