Abstract

The purpose of this OER is to raise awareness of gender inequalities in scientific publishing and the peer review process. The OER demonstrates how differences in the duration of the peer review process can affect the visibility of female and male researchers, as well as the development of academic careers, and encourages discussion on fairness and transparency in scholarly communication.
