Resum

The study of gold-(I) organometallic complexes has been of great interest over the last few years due to their luminescent properties. These compounds have a wide range of applications in different research fields such as chemosensors, photodynamic therapy and optical limiting. In this project, several mono- and dinuclear gold-(I) complexes have been synthesized. These linear complexes contain a triphenylene ligand with alkynyl moieties at the first coordination position of gold atom and a phosphane at the second coordination position. Several monophosphanes (-PTA, -PPh3, -PMe3) and diphosphanes (-dppe, -dppm, -xantphos and -spanphos) have been used to obtain gold complexes with different properties. 1H NMR, 31P-{H} NMR, IR, ESI-MS(+) techniques have been used to characterize the products and confirm the successful formation of gold-(I) derivatives. Lastly, the luminescent properties of the gold-(I) complexes have been studied recording the absorption and emission spectra
