The Catalunya Europa Foundation sponsors edited collections that reveal the full scope of Pasqual Maragall’s thought. Pasqual Maragall. Pensamiento y acción (‘Pasqual Maragall: Thought and Action’) (2017) highlights his main concerns and the enduring relevance of his ideas. Maragall al Govern de la Generalitat: les polítiques del canvi (‘Maragall in the Government of the Generalitat: The Politics of Change’) (2021) shows the extraordinary capacity for social transformation generated in Catalonia during his administration. This third volume complements the previous two by focusing on Maragall’s international outlook as both a citizen and a politician, particularly in Europe and the Mediterranean, which inspired and guided his career.
