Cultura Urbana i Educació Social: El Hip-Hop com a eina d'apoderament juvenil en contextos de vulnerabilitat

Abstract

[cat] El present treball de final de grau consisteix en una recerca qualitativa que explora el potencial del Hip-Hop com a eina socioeducativa en contextos de vulnerabilitat juvenil. L’objectiu principal és analitzar com aquesta cultura urbana pot afavorir processos d’expressió emocional, construcció identitària, cohesió comunitària i desenvolupament personal dins l’àmbit de l’educació social. La investigació es fonamenta en un marc teòric que revisa els orígens del Hip-Hop en contextos de marginalitat i analitza com les seves disciplines artístiques poden esdevenir recursos d’apoderament individual i col·lectiu. També s’estudia el context socioeconòmic de Barcelona, amb especial atenció al districte de Nou Barris, així com la relació entre l’art i l’educació social. Seguidament, el marc contextual es centra en l’Espai Jove Les Basses i l’entitat Versembrant com a escenaris d’estudi. La metodologia emprada ha estat qualitativa, mitjançant entrevistes semiestructurades a vuit persones vinculades a aquests espais, incloent-hi professionals i participants, i el contingut recollit ha estat posteriorment analitzat per interpretar-ne les dades. Els resultats evidencien la capacitat del Hip-Hop per generar vincles educatius, fomentar la participació i promoure processos d’apoderament. També s’identifiquen limitacions estructurals, com l’estigmatització de la cultura o la manca de recursos. Finalment, el treball conclou reivindicant el Hip-Hop com a eina d’intervenció socioeducativa, destacant-ne el potencial com a factor protector i el paper clau de l’educadora social en la seva aplicació crítica i transformadora.

[eng] This bachelor’s final project consists of qualitative research that explores the potential of Hip-Hop as a socio-educational tool in contexts of youth vulnerability. The main objective is to analyze how this urban culture can favor processes of emotional expression, identity construction, community cohesion and personal development within the field of social education. The research is based on a theoretical framework that reviews the origins of Hip-Hop in contexts of marginality and analyzes how its artistic disciplines can become resources for individual and collective empowerment. The socio-economic context of Barcelona is also studied, with special attention to the Nou Barris district, as well as the relationship between art and social education. To continue, the contextual framework focuses on the Espai Jove Les Basses and the Versembrant entity as study scenarios. The methodology used has been qualitative, through semi-structured interviews with eight people linked to these spaces, including professionals and participants, and the content collected has been subsequently analyzed to interpret the data. The results show the capacity of Hip-Hop to generate educational links, encourage participation and promote empowerment processes. Structural limitations are also identified, such as the stigmatization of culture or lack of resources. Finally, the work concludes by claiming Hip-Hop as a tool for socio-educational intervention, highlighting its potential as a protective factor and the key role of the social educator in its critical and transformative application.
