[cat] Aquest treball és un estudi de la capella de Sant Jaume de Castelló a
Olesa de Montserrat (Catalunya). Construïda al segle XVII i segregada del nucli
urbà, aquesta capella va ser una part important de la vida rural de la zona durant
el període medieval i modern. Les fonts orals i documentals i les tècniques
arqueològiques disponibles en l'actualitat, han permès establir un ordre
cronològic: una primera església actualment desapareguda i d’ubicació incerta,
l'església actual construïda a l’inici del segle XVII i la renovació d’aquesta el segle
XVIII. Mitjançant l’estudi de paraments (no intrusiu) s’ha iniciat un registre que
caldrà completar en un futur a partir del resultat d’intervencions arqueològiques.
A més, s'ha registrat el volum tridimensional de l'edifici mitjançant fotogrametria
per evitar pèrdues d'informació si no s'aborda l'estat de l'edifici.
[eng] This work is a study of the chapel of Sant Jaume de Castelló in Olesa de Montserrat (Catalonia, Spain). Built in the XVII century and segregated from the urban center. This kind of religious building was an important part of the rural life of the area in the medieval and modern eras. The oral and documentary sources and the archaeological techniques available at the moment, allowed to construct a chronological order, and better establish the knowledge of this church, which appears to have been renovated in the XVIII century. Furthermore, efforts have been made to register the tridimensional volume of the building using photogrammetry to avoid loss of information if the state of the building is not addressed.
