De la sensació de casa

[cat] La ‘sensació de casa’ és imprecisa, inexacte, amplia i és el punt de partida.Té relació amb la intimitat, el confort, la protecció, el refugi, el benestar, la serenor, la soledat, el recolliment, la vinculació.... Aquesta amplitud i indefinició produeix incertesa alhora que incita a la investigació. M’interessen les coses àmplies i ambigües. Potser és per això que el que intento a través de les diverses propostes en forma de situacions és jugar amb aquesta incertesa, investigar els condicionants que rodueixen aquesta sensació, buscar límits. Per fer-ho, utilitzo casa meva com a espai de joc i de prova, i els cossos que l’habiten o que la transiten com a subjectes que experimenten. En realitat, potser podria dir simplement: he/m estat fent coses a casa.

[eng] The ‘sense of home’ is vague, ill-defined, imprecise and it is the starting point. It is related to privacy, comfort, protection, shelter, welfare, serenity, solitude, bind... This vagueness and wideness produces uncertainty while encourages to research. I am interested in wide and ambiguous things. Maybe that is why I try to play with the uncertainty proposing different situations, to investigate the conditions which produce this feeling, to find limits. To do so, I use my house as a place to play and test, and the inhabitants or the people who pass-through this space as subjects who experiment. Actually, maybe it could just be said: I/we have been doing things at home.
