[spa] Esta investigación explora mi interacción con el espacio urbano y el arte a través del recorrido y la observación de la ciudad. Me enfoco en cómo los obstáculos y modificaciones urbanas, como construcciones y esquinas inusuales, afectan el tránsito rozando un carácter escultórico. Estas intervenciones temporales en la ciudad, aunque a menudo son una molestia, me fascinan por su capacidad de alterar la circulación y su potencial para ser percibidas como instalaciones artísticas. Mi investigación también se centra en la recolección de objetos urbanos, considerando su materialidad y utilidad, y cómo estos elementos pueden ser transformados en objetos escultóricos que interrumpen y modifican el espacio, condicionando la relación entre el espectador y el entorno.
En el presente texto, relaciono mi práctica artística con el trabajo de otros artistas y teorías sobre el espacio urbano y los objetos, destacando la importancia de la espacialidad y el recorrido en la creación de arte. Mencionaré cómo caminar por la ciudad, observando y recolectando materiales, se convierte en un proceso creativo que redefine el espacio urbano y sus elementos cotidianos. Al cambiar de ciudad, adapto mi metodología, incorporando nuevos materiales y enfoques intuitivos en mi obra. Finalmente, presento cómo mi práctica artística busca transformar y resignificar el espacio urbano, estableciendo nuevas perspectivas y conexiones entre el objeto artístico, el espacio y el espectador.
[eng] This research explores my interaction with urban space and art through walking and observing the city. I focus on how urban obstacles and modifications, such as constructions and unusual corners, impact transit, bordering on a sculptural character. These temporary interventions in the city, though often a nuisance, fascinate me for their ability to alter circulation and their potential to be perceived as artistic installations. My research also centers on collecting urban objects, considering their materiality and utility, and how these elements can be transformed into sculptural objects that interrupt and modify space, conditioning the relationship between the viewer and the environment. In this text, I relate my artistic practice to the work of other artists and theories about urban space and objects, highlighting the importance of spatiality and walking in the creation of art. I will discuss how walking through the city, observing, and collecting materials becomes a creative process that redefines urban space and its everyday elements. When moving from one city to another, I adapt my methodology, incorporating new materials and intuitive approaches into my work. Finally, I present how my artistic practice seeks to transform and reframe urban space, establishing new perspectives and connections between the artistic object, space, and the viewer.
