Abstract
[cat] La diversitat és un element intrínsec de la societat i, com a tal, s’ha de tenir en
compte a l’hora de construir els entorns inclusius necessaris perquè tothom, sense
que importi la seva condició o la seva situació personal, pugui participar plenament
de la vida en societat; la inclusió de tots els col·lectius és l’element bàsic per
aconseguir-ho. Els mecanismes que implementem perquè tothom participi de la vida
pública en igualtat de condicions és el que es coneix com accessibilitat, i amb
aquestes accions es pretén eliminar les barreres socioeconòmiques que fan que
alguns col·lectius quedin exclosos de la participació de la vida pública.
En aquest projecte s’analitzen algunes accions sobre accessibilitat cognitiva que
s’han implementat en museus de tot el món i, després, s’avalua una institució de
caire local, el Museu d’Història de Sabadell, en els mateixos termes. Finalment, s’ha
desenvolupat una proposta d’activitat per millorar l’accessibilitat cognitiva d’aquesta
institució, a fi de que el públic del museu amb necessitats especials disposi d’una
oferta accessible major.
[eng]Diversity is an intrinsic element in society and must be taken into account when constructing the inclusive spaces much-needed so everyone can participate in society as everyone else, no matter their condition or personal situation; the full inclusion of all groups is the aim to achieve. The actions executed to guarantee the participation of everyone in public life under equal conditions are known as accessibility; all these actions are meant to eliminate socioeconomic barriers that result in some collectives being excluded from public life. This project examines different actions over cognitive accessibility that have been implemented in museums around the world; afterward, a local institution, the Museu d’Història de Sabadell, is also evaluated in terms of accessibility as well. Finally, an activity proposal has been developed to improve cognitive accessibility in this institution, so that the museum's public with special needs has a better and larger accessible offer.
