[spa] [spa] La presente investigación se centra en la propuesta artística mirada a intervenir y narrar disruptivamente la frontera en su manifestaciones materiales y simbólicas con el objetivo de evidenciar el potencial epistémico, social y político de esta propuesta y su aportación a una narración disruptiva y renovadora del concepto mismo de frontera mediante un análisis comparativo de casos artísticos y curatoriales a escala global, mirada a mostrar la continuidad, articulación y conexión interregional de dicha propuesta, enfocado en la producción de las últimas cuatro décadas. Los casos incluidos en esta comparación han sido seleccionado en base a tres criterios: su capacidad para describir dicho potencial, su articulación inter y supranacional, su compromiso comunitario, privilegiando, además, proyectos emergentes y/o escasamente divulgados. Dicho análisis es acompañado y ampliado por una profundización acerca de los ejes conceptuales sobre los cuales tienden a verter estas iniciativas, destacando tendencias en la narración contemporánea de la frontera que son reveladoras de las subjetividades que en ella se (re)generan, la cual es completada por una breve reflexión acerca de la aportación social y política del arte y la curaduría fronteriza. Es posible resumir al cuadro resultantes del análisis de casos y de estas reflexiones al margen mediante tres categorías entrelazadas del concepto de frontera: en cuanto espacio de excepción, o mejor dicho del estado de excepción, y colateralmente, de acción social y política, y finalmente, como territorio epistémico, categorías que resaltan, aunque desde perspectivas diferentes, el carácter profundamente disruptivo, procesual, y (re)generador de la frontera desde el marco ofrecido por el arte contemporáneo, manifestando la capacidad de artistas y curadores para subvertir y proponer imaginarios, participando con reiterado compromiso en las dinámicas de expresión y revolución de las subjetividades contemporáneas.
[eng] This research focuses on the artistic proposal aimed at intervening and disruptively narrating the border in its material and symbolic manifestations with the objective of evidencing the epistemic, social, and political potential of this proposal and its contribution to a disruptive and renovating narration of the very concept of border through a comparative analysis of artistic and curatorial cases on a global scale, aimed at showing the continuity, articulation and interregional connection of this proposal, focusing on the production of the last four decades. The cases included in this comparison have been selected on the basis of three criteria: their capacity to describe such potential, their international and supranational articulation, and their community commitment, privileging, in addition, emerging and/or scarcely publicized projects. This analysis is accompanied and expanded by a deepening of the conceptual axes on which these initiatives tend to pour, highlighting tendencies in the contemporary narration of the border that are revealing of the subjectivities that are (re)generated therein, which is completed by a brief reflection on the social and political contribution of border art and curatorship. It is possible to summarize the picture resulting from the analysis of the cases and these reflections on the margins by means of three intertwined categories of the concept of border: as a space of exception, or rather of the state of exception, and collaterally, of social and political action, and finally, as epistemic territory, categories that highlight, albeit from different perspectives, the profoundly disruptive and (re)generating nature of the border from the framework offered by contemporary art, manifesting the capacity of artists and curators to subvert and propose imaginaries, participating with reiterated commitment in the dynamics of expression and revolution of contemporary subjectivities.

Aquesta anàlisi va acompanyada i s'amplia d'una anàlisi profunda dels eixos conceptuals sobre els quals aquestes iniciatives tendeixen a abocar-se, destacant tendències en la narrativa contemporània de la frontera que revelen les subjectivitats que s'hi (re)generen, que es completa amb una breu reflexió sobre la contribució social i política de l'art i la comissariat fronterera. És possible resumir la imatge resultant de l'anàlisi dels casos i aquestes reflexions als marges mitjançant tres categories entrellaçades del concepte de frontera: com a espai d'excepció, o més aviat de l'estat d'excepció, i col·lateralment, d'acció social i política, i finalment, com a territori epistèmic, categories que destaquen, encara que des de perspectives diferents, el caràcter profundament disruptiu, processual, i (re)generador de la frontera des del marc ofert per l'art contemporani, manifestant la capacitat d'artistes i comissaris per subvertir i proposar imaginaris, participant amb compromís reiterat en la dinàmica d'expressió i revolució de les subjectivitats contemporànies.
