[spa] La caída del Reino visigodo de Toledo (711) propició grandes cambios a lo largo de todo el territorio peninsular, sin embargo, en toda la Cordillera Cantábrica encontramos sociedades que, aún manteniendo su modus vivendi tradicional, ante una necesidad apremiante, tuvieron que modificar los espacios habitacionales y su ocupación sobre el territorio. La historiografía especializada en este período, normalmente suele fijarse en los grandes acontecimientos político-bélicos; mientras que ha habido un interés más bien residual, por parte de la arqueología, de caracterizar los sistemas de poblamiento en el sector oriental asturiano.
Por ello, el presente trabajo pretende caracterizar dichas formas poblacionales, tipos de poblamiento y ocupación del territorio en los inicios de la Monarquía astur-leonesa. Para ello, este escrito cuenta con un marco crono-geográfico, un listado de yacimientos y cartografía, con el fin de analizar y caracterizar dicho modelo.
[eng] The fall of Visigothic Kingdom of Toledo (711) supposed great changes all alongside peninsular territory, although, in the Cantabrian Ranges we find societies that, having kept their traditional modus vivendi, facing danger, had to modify their living spaces and their territorial occupation. Specialized historiography of the period, usually focus on the great politico-war events; whereas, archaeology, have had residual interests on portraying the settlement in eastern Asturias. This is why, the following paper intends to portray such settlements, populations and territorial occupation enclosed in the dawn of Astur-leonese Monarchy. With these means, a chrono-geographic frame is presented, followed by an archeological sites list and cartography, aiming to analyze and depict the aforementioned model.
