Abstract
[eng] This project arises from my interest in Japanese art and its way of seeing the world, praising the reflective and spiritual field of this culture. The works I have made are interpreted from the book El elogio de la sombra (Tanizaki, 2019), published for the first time in 1933. From reading Tanizaki’s book, I have chosen the representation of light and shadow related to space, showing this relationship from the landscape. Landscape works created through the technique of digital drawing, Elogio are the result of a deep and meaningful reading, by one of the literary authors of the 20th century who has most marked my short artistic career. In conclusion, Elogio has resulted in works full of reflection, light and shadow.
