D'estar per casa. Una aproximació al valor humà i poètic de l'espai domèstic

Abstract

[cat] Aquest projecte pretén ser una aproximació al valor tan humà com poètic de l’espai domèstic. És, podríem dir-ne, una al·legoria a la casa viscuda. Des d’aquesta condició de territori habitat, la casa no es pot llegir sinó vinculada a l’habitant i, conseqüentment, a la pròpia condició quotidiana. És des d’aquí, des d’on el fet d’habitar esdevé un acte conscient que situa l’habitatge més enllà del seu espai físic, generant-se un vaivé que trenca i qüestiona la dicotomia entre l’espai públic i l’espai privat, entre allò individual i allò comú, entre l’espai físic i el mental. Construir, habitar, pensar; prenent les paraules de Heidegger, aquests termes entren en diàleg constant en aquest projecte per tal de qüestionar-los i qüestionar-nos. Metodològica i formalment treballo mitjançant els objectes –en aquest cas tèxtils- que esdevenen testimonis de l’experiència en l’espai habitat, construint a través de la seva reutilització i esdevenint aquest fet una manera d’entendre l’habitar.

[eng] This project is intended to be an approximation to the domestic space’s poetic and human value. This is, we could say, an allegory to the lived home. From this condition of inhabited territory, home cannot be read but linked to the habitant and, consequently, to the actual everyday condition. It is from here that the fact of living becomes a conscious act that locates the housing far from its specific physical space, generating a swing that questions and breaks the dichotomy between the public and the private space, between what is individual and what is common, between the physical and mental space. Building, inhabiting, thinking; taking Heidegger’s words, these concepts initiate a constant dialogue in this project so as to question them and to question ourselves. I work methodologically and formally with the objects -in this case textile materials- that become witnesses of the experience in the inhabited space, building through its reuse and becoming this fact a way of understanding the inhabiting.
