Access to Pornography During Adolescence

Abstract

This video explains how adolescents come into contact with pornography at very early ages, often unintentionally. Mireia Iglesias (adolescent), Carmen Candial (sociologist and expert in pornography), and Esther Luna (project coordinator, UB) explain that this material has become their main source of sex education, often featuring violent, sexist, and unrealistic content. This creates pressure, insecurity, and a distorted view of relationships. The goal is to highlight the urgent need for affective-sexual education that promotes respect, autonomy, and emotional awareness from childhood.
