[ca] Un patró que està obert i incomplet permet imaginar aquelles possibilitats que no es veuen, però que hi són. Lliris i palmetes, model 96 és la reinterpretació d’un terra conegut, que d’alguna manera m’explica una història de la ciutat de Barcelona a través del seu material, de l’expansió urbanística a l’actual especulació. La visió d’una fàbrica em porta al ciment, a pensar en les persones que vivien allà i en tot el que es va construir amb aquella matèria. Utilitzo el ciment per fer aquesta instal·lació efímera en la qual fer i desfer van de la mà.
[eng] An open and incomplete pattern allows me to imagine the possibilities that are out of sight, but still there. Lliris i palmetes, model 96 is the reinterpretation of a known floor that somehow tells me a story about the city of Barcelona through its material, from urban development to today’s real estate speculation. The image of a factory guides me towards cement, the people who lived there and everything that was built out of that matter. I use cement to create this ephemeral installation in which doing and undoing go hand by hand.
