[spa] Esta investigación indaga en la configuración de la hospitalidad en el taller de creación cinematográfica “Vivim el barri”, impulsado por la Filmoteca de Catalunya en el barrio del Raval de Barcelona, y en la manera en que esa relación se inscribe en el archivo que el propio taller produce. A partir de un marco teórico que articula la noción de hospitalidad de Jacques Derrida con una lectura crítica del archivo desde perspectivas feministas y decoloniales (Azoulay, Cvetkovich, Hartman, Tamboukou), el estudio se pregunta cómo una institución cultural negocia los límites entre la acogida incondicional y las condiciones que la hacen posible.
Metodológicamente, la investigación se sitúa en una perspectiva narrativa y cualitativa, basada en el estudio de caso del taller “Vivim el barri” en sus ediciones de 2023 y 2024. Combina la observación participante, el recuerdo, entrevistas y el análisis documental de los materiales del taller (cortometrajes, registros audiovisuales, documentos institucionales y didácticos) para reconstruir el archivo y analizar sus tensiones.
El análisis se organiza en torno a cinco aporías que atraviesan el taller: la puerta, la lengua, la inversión de roles, la temporalidad y el entusiasmo radical. Estas revelan cómo la Filmoteca negocia permanentemente entre su deber de acoger y sus protocolos institucionales.
La investigación concluye con una cartografía de principios para una pedagogía posible de la hospitalidad institucional, orientada a otros equipos de mediación que trabajan en contextos urbanos tensionados.
[eng] This research explores the configuration of hospitality in the filmmaking workshop “Vivim el barri” organized by the Filmoteca of Catalunya in Barcelona’s Raval neighbourhood, and the ways in which this relationship is inscribed in the archive produced by the workshop itself. Drawing on a theoretical framework that articulates Jacques Derrida’s notion of hospitality with a critical reading of the archive from feminist and decolonial perspectives (Azoulay, Cvetkovich, Hartman, Tamboukou), the study asks how a cultural institution negotiates the limits between unconditional hospitality and the conditions that make it possible. Methodologically, the research adopts a narrative and qualitative approach, based on a case study of the workshop “Vivim el barri” in its 2023 and 2024 editions. Combining participant observation, memory, an interview and documentary analysis of the workshop materials (short films, audiovisual records, institutional and didactic documents) to reconstruct the archive and analyse its tensions. The analysis is organised around five aporias that run through the workshop: the door, language, role reveral, temporality and radical enthusiasm. These reveal how the Filmoteca permanently negotiates between its duty to welcome and its institutional protocols. The research concludes with a cartography of principles for a pedagogy of institutional hospitality, aimed at other mediation teams working in urban contexts of transformation.
