[cat] Aquest treball vol ser un acostament a la Navegació del marquès d’Almaçan, un text de
Vicent Garcia poc conegut. El treball es divideix en tres parts: en primer lloc, s’aporta un
estudi del marc general del text en què es dona compte de la base històrica dels fets
narrats, s’intenta d’esbossar els trets principals del gènere al qual s’adscriu, la poesia
heroicòmica, i es fa un resseguiment succint del recorregut manuscrit i editorial del poema
al llarg de la tradició. En segon lloc, es para atenció a qüestions específiques del text
garcianesc, com ara la mixtura dels personatges o els mecanismes compositius que hi
empra l’autor, i se’n fa una anàlisi minuciosa. Finalment, a les conclusions, s’emeten
algunes consideracions generals al voltant de la composició estudiada i, en apèndix,
s’inclou un annex amb la transcripció i l’adaptació a l’ortografia actual del text estudiat a
partir del ms. 229 de la Biblioteca de Palma de Mallorca, confrontat amb la versió de
l’edició prínceps.
[eng] This paper aims to be an approach to Navegació del marquès d’Almaçan, a little known text written by Vicent Garcia. The project is divided into three parts: in the first place, a study of the work’s general framework with its historical basis is displayed; also, it is intended to outline the main features of its genre, heroi-comical poetry, and a diminished vision of both handwritten and printed throughout tradition is provided. Secondly, some attention is given to specific issues of Garcia’s text, e.g; the characters’ mixture or the compositional procedures used by the autor, with a detailed analysis. Finally, in the conclusions, some general considerations on the studied poem are issued, and hereafter an annex is included with the transcription and adaptation to the current ortography of the manuscript that reproduces the poem’s version this monograph is based on, the MS 229 from Palma de Mallorca’s Library, compared to the editio princeps
