[cat] El present treball pretén ser una aproximació als aspectes fonamentals de La Faula de Guillem de Torroella en relació amb la Matèria de Bretanya i la literatura artúrica. L’estudi comença amb l’exposició d’un estat de la qüestió general sobre la Matèria de Bretanya i la seva influència a Catalunya. Aquesta primera part constitueix la base per a la següent, que és una anàlisi de l’obra de Torroella i que se centra sobretot en aquells aspectes narratius caracteritzats com a meravellosos i màgics inserits dins els models de les obres artúriques.
[eng] This project aims to be an approach to the fundamental aspects of La Faula of Guillem de Torroella in relation to the Matter of Britain and Arthurian literature. The study begins with the exposition of the general status of the Matter of Britain and its influence in Catalonia. This first part constitutes the base for the next one, which is an analysis of Torroella’s work, focused on those narrative aspects characterised as marvellous and magic and which are inserted into the Arthurian novels.
