[cat] La motivació envers la realització d’aquest projecte sorgeix a partir de conclusions extretes de les meves vivències artístiques i personals, que m’han portat a enamorar-me de la idea de crear una mitologia fonamentada en unes bases culturals i socials en les que adapto la concepció del meu univers personal.
D’alguna manera la idea de configurar un manifest propi es basa en la preocupació que sentim els essers humans davant el nostre destí. Poso en el punt de mira la societat i la ràpida evolució de l’esser humà, sobretot en relació al seu entorn natural. Introdueixo la idea de l’Apocalipsi com s’ha fet en nombrosos contexts de la cultura, per tal de provocar un sentiment de inquietud en l’espectador.
L’estètica d’aquest projecte es regeix per les característiques dels mateixos materials utilitzats i a la vegada per certes corrents literàries que conformen l’entramat final.
Per altra banda en realitzar aquestes operacions d’unir i descontextualitzar objectes rebutjats, estic fent l’exercici de buidar de significat formes ja existents per tal d’omplir-les d’altres idees que conformen la base de la meva aportació; obtenint com a resultat una sèrie de mites i el que significa el context on aquests mites s’uneixen: una mitologia.
[eng] The motivation towards the realization of this project arises from conclusions drawn from my artistic and personal experiences, which have led me to fall in love with the idea of creating a mythology based on cultural and social characteristics, in which I adapt the conception of my personal universe. In some way the idea of configuring my own manifest is based on the concern humans feel about their fate. I put under the spotlight society and the fast evolution of human beings, specially in relation to its natural environment. I introduce the idea of the apocalypse as it has been done in many contexts of culture, in order to provoke a feeling of restlessness on the viewer. The aesthetics of this project are governed by the characteristics of the same materials used and at the same time by certain literary currents that make up the final frame. On the other hand, when I performed these operations to unite and decontextualize rejected objects, I was doing the exercise to empty out the meaning already existing in forms to fill them with other ideas that make up the basis of my input; resulting on a series of myths and the context in which those unite: a mythology.
