[cat] No-Man’s-Land s’articula al voltant de tres posicionaments polítics i personals. Per una banda respon a la necessitat de visibilitzar un concepte d’heroïcitat que posi la vida i la gestió dels afectes i les vulnerabilitats al centre del discurs, i a la voluntat de repolititzar els espais domèstics i de cures. Per l’altra, pretén repensar la relació entre cos i ciutat. Especialment les relacions que les identitats dissidents desenvolupen a l’espai públic, i com aquest pot ser reapropiat a través de pràctiques subversives i poètiques. Per últim, sorgeix de la convicció que recuperar l’agència sobre les històries que ens expliquem suposa recuperar agència
identitària, autorepresentació i espai polític. I que narrar és en si mateix un acte performatiu, i per tant, potencialment transformador. Aquesta proposta ens convida a fer-ho des de la reapropiació de textos mitològics, però molt lluny dels seus herois, a través del relat ficcionat i poètic d’unes heroïnes contemporànies en un temps distòpic, on les històries del passat i les històries del futur es reordenen per provar de fer-nos entendre el present. Abordat des de diferents disciplines visuals i textuals, el projecte es materialitza a través d’un llibre d’artista en format contenidor, una instal·lació i una performance.
[eng] No-Man’s-Land is articulated around three political and personal positions. On the one hand, it responds to the need to visibilize a different concept of heroicity, which places life and the management of affections and vulnerabilities at the center of the discourse, and to the desire to repoliticize domestic and care spaces. On the other hand, it aims to rethink the relationship between body and city. Especially the relationships that dissident identities develop in public spaces, and how these can be reappropriated through subversive and poetic practices. Finally, it emerges from the conviction that recovering agency regarding the stories we explain implies recovering identity agency, self-representation and political space. And that to narrate is in itself a performative act, and therefore, a potentially transformative action. This proposal invites us to do so from the reappropriation of mythological texts, but very far from his heroes, through the fictional and poetic narrative of some contemporary heroines in a dystopian time, where the stories of the past and the stories of the future are reordered to try to make us understand the present. Addressed from different visual and textual disciplines, the project is materialized through an artist’s book in a container format, an installation and a performance.
