[spa] Se abordan diversos aspectos de las fobias específicas: naturaleza, edad de comienzo y curso, frecuencia, problemas asociados, génesis y mantenimiento, métodos e instrumentos de evaluación, y eficacia y utilidad clínica del tratamiento psicológico y farmacológico. Además, se ofrecen guías para aplicar los tratamientos psicológicos más eficaces.

[eng] Several aspects of specific phobias are treated: nature, age at onset and course, prevalence, associated problems, etiology and maintenance, assessment methods and instruments, and efficacy and clinical utility of psychological and pharmacological treatments. Moreover, suggestions to apply the more efficacious psychological treatments are offered.
