[spa] Este trabajo pretende ser una recopilación de recursos útiles, datos estadísticos e
instrumentos normativos con el fin de proporcionar una visión contrastada y un estudio
comparativo de los casos de violencia extrema contra las mujeres recogidos en cuatro países
de distintas características socioeconómicas. El objetivo final de este trabajo, dirigido tanto
a estudiantes como a profesionales del ámbito de las ciencias sociales, será el de poder
aportar una serie de conclusiones sobre los mecanismos de prevención y de respuesta que
parecen ser más efectivos a la hora de erradicar esta pandemia que afecta a toda la sociedad
internacional actual.
[eng] The objective of this work is to compile a useful list of information sources, statistical data and legal instruments related to the different types of extreme violence against women that exist in four countries of different socioeconomic characteristics. This list of resources will allow us to carry out a comparative study, addressed to social science students and professionals. In conclusion, this dissertation is aimed to facilitate the study and analysis of the situation in different parts of the world with the final purpose of giving a series of conclusions about the apparently most effective mechanisms to end extreme violence against women.
