Germanies. Revolta medieval o moderna?

Abstract

Els fets històrics estudiats en aquest Treball Final de Grau del quart curs del grau universitari d’Història van marcar un punt d’inflexió en l’edat moderna espanyola i es troben en un context històric de transició entre els mons medieval i modern. En aquest treball, es tracta el fet històric de la Revolta de les Germanies als Regnes de València i Mallorca de manera documentada mitjançant un estat de la qüestió, el debat historiogràfic que ha existit sobre el tema tractat i els diferents punts de vista dels historiadors respecte a les causes de l’aixecament armat i sobre per quins grups estamentals estaven formats els agermanats que es van revoltar contra les imposicions i els seus consells l’any 1519 i sobre quina ideologia tenien. A més, s’analitza les conseqüències que va tenir la revolta i es realitza una comparació entre la Revolta de les Germanies i la Revolta de les Comunitats de Castella, havent estat aquests dos conflictes coetanis entre ells. Tot plegat ha de respondre a la qüestió plantejada: les Germanies va ser una revolta medieval o moderna?

The historical facts studied in this Final degree project of the fourth course of the bachelor’s degree in History produced a transition point in the early modern Spain and are happened in a historical context between the medieval and modern history. In this project, it is studied the historical fact of the Revolt of the Brotherhoods in the Kingdoms of Valencia and Majorca in a documented form by a state of the art, the historiographical discussion that has existed about the episode studied and about which feudal groups conformed the Brotherhoods who were revolted against the impositions and their board in 1519 and about which ideology they had. Also it is analysed the consequences that the revolt had and it is realized a comparison between the Revolt of the Brotherhoods and the Revolt of the Comuneros in the Crown of Castile, being this two coetaneous conflicts. All of this must answer to the question set out: The Brotherhoods was a medieval or modern revolt?
