La foire aux sciences, une expérience d'éducation scientifique et environnementale dans la formation des éducatrices et éducateurs en petite enfance

[fre] Considérant les enjeux et les limites de la « société de la connaissance », il importe de réorienter l'éducation et de privilégier à cet effet des processus d'apprentissage plus ancrés dans la communauté de vie et qui prennent en compte les réalités et problèmes écosociaux. À partir de cette prémisse, nous présentons une recherche-action dans le domaine de l'enseignement-apprentissage des sciences au préscolaire. Cette recherche nous a permis de mettre au point une démarche pédagogique qui articule quatre éléments clés: l'identification d'un phénomène à étudier dans le milieu de vie de l'enfant, la formulation de questions de médiation qui guident et stimulent l'investigation, l'instauration d'un dialogue interdisciplinaire et l'évaluation en tant que processus de régulation.
[eng] Considering the challenges and the limits of the “knowledge society”, it is important to reorient education and, for this purpose, to favor learning processes more anchored in the community of life and which take into account the realities and ecosocial problems. Based on this premise, we present action research in the field of preschool science teaching-learning. This research has enabled us to develop a pedagogical approach that articulates four key elements : the identification of a phenomenon to be studied in the child’s living environment, the formulation of mediation questions that guide and stimulate the investigation. The establishment of an interdisciplinary dialogue and evaluation as a regulatory process.
