Abstract
mecanismos asociados a éste.

The tails, connected to a system of pre-programmed movement sensors, are shaken intermittently and without any temporal correspondence, simulating the natural movements of the animal. This movement is interrupted when the spectators approach the piece and reactivated again when they distance themselves from the installation. The investigation centers on desire and how it develops depending on the tension generated by the distance between the object of desire and the subject, using attraction and rejection as the main mechanisms associated with it. Hair, horse and robotics are used as the main elements that are articulated with the will to build and understand the image of desire. Across different fields of thought, the effects it has on us today are analysed, where the culture of desire dominates. Concluding that the essence of desire lies precisely in the impossibility of being understood as well as in the lack and the hunger that feeds it. Desire attracts us towards its own extinction.
