Experiències de joves lesbianes, bisexuals i altres orientacions sexuals no normatives a l’espai privat

Abstract

[cat] Ampliar la recerca sobre les experiències del col·lectiu LGBTI+ a l’espai privat familiar és imprescindible per tal d’aportar dades a l’estat de la qüestió i poder identificar quines violències experimenta el col·lectiu en aquest espai. En el present treball s’estudia, des d’un enfocament d’anàlisi intracategòric, un grup de dones cis joves amb orientacions sexuals no normatives per investigar com es percep el gènere i l'orientació sexual a l’espai de convivència compartit amb la família. Els relats d’aquestes dones joves aporten informació sobre quines discriminacions i desigualtats reben pel fet de ser dones i tenir una orientació sexual que s’aparta de l’heteronormativitat i quines estratègies desenvolupen per fer-hi front. Els resultats mostren que el domini de l’espai privat familiar segueix sent adultocèntric, masclista i heteronormatiu. El treball posa en relleu la discriminació i desigualtat que viuen les dones i el col·lectiu LGBTI+ en l’etapa de la joventut a casa.

[eng] Widening the research of the LGBTI+ community’s experiences at the familiar private space is essential to provide more data about the state of the art so it can contribute to identify which violence LGBTI+ youth experience at this space. The present dissertation studies, from an intracategorical complexity approach, a group of cis young women with non-normative sexuality to investigate how they perceive their gender and sexual orientation at the house shared with the family. The reporting of these young women gives information on which discriminations and inequalities they experience due to their condition as women and having a sexuality that does not correspond to heteronormativity. Additionally, it portrays the strategies they develop to face these situations. The results show that the power of the familiar private space is based on adultcentrism, sexism and heteronormative standards. The dissertation shows the discrimination and inequality that women and the LGBTI+ community live in their youth at home.
