[spa] Se suele decir que la niñez alberga una sabiduría inaccesible para el mundo adulto, que la pureza y la ingenuidad que envuelve al niño le permite ver el mundo con claridad, sin prejuicios y sin una carga de conciencia heredada. Desde las representaciones de deidades en forma de infantes en el Antiguo Egipto hasta las crudas piezas de madera del escultor contemporáneo Gehard Demetz, los creadores de imágenes, a lo largo de los siglos, han ido en busca de las fórmulas para plasmar en sus obras una u otra visión de la infancia y de lo que en ella se esconde. A través de este proyecto, presento una escultura en forma de niño que se enfrenta al público como un pequeño adulto dotado de conciencia, rozando la delgada línea que existe entre la niñez y la adultez y que, llegado el momento, se desborda.
[eng] It is often said that childhood harbors a wisdom inaccessible to the adult world, that the purity and naivety that surrounds the child allows him to see the world clearly, without prejudice and without an inherited load of consciousness. From the representations of deities in the form of infants in Ancient Egypt to the raw wooden pieces of contemporary sculptor Gehard Demetz, the creators of images, over the centuries, have gone in search of formulas to capture in their works one or another vision of childhood and what is hidden in it. Through this project, I present a sculpture in the form of a child who faces the public as a small adult endowed with conscience, touching the thin line that exists between childhood and adulthood and that, when the time comes, overflows
