La 'performance' postmoderna: una reconceptualización de la idea de 'performance'

[spa] Propongo una reconceptualización de la idea de Performance desde una hermenéutica de la sospecha, desde la que cuestiono si la realidad objetiva realmente está conformada por una serie de construcciones a partir de discursos. Para ello, estudio la Performance desde la filosofía del lenguaje y la importancia de la repetición de discursos como constructora de la realidad. Planteo que, ante la idea de una escisión en la representación que han creado los discursos, pues estos han caído, los sujetos postmodernos se encuentran en un mundo sin sentido: en un absurdo ¿Cómo lidian con ello? A través de la performatividad: una creación de discursos que emergen de la cadena entre significante – significante, que buscan el sin-sentido del sentido (o a la inversa), que construyen sus identidades y realidades adecuándose al desengaño de la postmodernidad. Para ejemplificar cómo funciona esta performatividad utilizo como objeto de estudio a la artista Samantha Hudson.

[eng] I put forward a reconceptualization of the idea of Performance from a hermeneutics of suspicion, from which I dispute the idea of a uniform and objective reality and ask if it is actually formed by a series of constructions made by hegemonic discourses. That is the reason why I study the Performance from the philosophy of language's perspective, to see the construction of the reality that we perceive from those discourses. I suggest studying the idea of a slit in the representation created by the metanarrative, already fallen, the postmodern subject finds itself now in a nonsense world: in an absurd. How do they deal with that? With the idea of Performance: a creation of discourses that emerge from the signified-signifier chain, that search for the nonsense of the sense (or the other way), that build their identities and realities adapting to the postmodernism's disillusion. To exemplify how this Performance works I use as an object of study the artist Samantha Hudson. Key Words: Performance, metanarrative, postmodernity, Samantha Hudson
