Abstract
It is quite a challenge to report on the current state of Iberian Studies in Catalonia, due in large part to a lack of institutional implementation in Catalan universities. Although regulated courses of study for the various official and co-official languages of the Iberian Península and their literatures exist within the Catalan academy, they are pursued autonomously following independent curricula and implemented very unevenly. Despite the presence of a small number of courses exploring the cultural diversity of the Iberian Peninsula, they do not form a cohesive field.
