[spa] “136 Vitrinas” es un proyecto de investigación artística que parte de la vitrina como objeto y deriva hacia una serie de cuestiones entorno a la relación y el vínculo que establecemos con ciertos objetos. En algunos casos originan tanto la acumulación y el fetichismo como el coleccionismo y el consumismo.
Se reflexiona sobre el concepto en sí mismo de lo que simboliza o es una vitrina. Todo objeto transparente y contenedor de materia ¿Es una vitrina? ¿Podríamos considerar una cabina de teleférico o una incubadora una vitrina?
La materialización del proyecto se formaliza en una instalación artística formada por seis vitrinas de diferente índole: una incubadora y un túmulo (pieza audiovisual), tres marcos de fotografías, un acuario, veintiséis mamparas (foto libro), dos invernaderos y una campana de vidrio.
[eng] “136 Vitrinas” is an artistic research project that starts from the showcase as an object and drifts towards a series of questions around the relationship and the link we establish with certain objects. In some cases they originate both accumulation and fetishism as well as collecting and consumerism. It reflects on the concept itself of what symbolizes or is a showcase. Every transparent object and container of matter Is it a showcase? Could we consider a cable car cabin or an incubator a showcase? The materialization of the project is formalized in an artistic installation formed by six showcases of different kinds: an incubator and a tumulus (audiovisual piece), three frames of photographs, an aquarium, twenty-six screens (photo book), two greenhouses and a glass bell.
