[spa] Este texto analiza las diferentes razones por las que el profeta Daniel fue considerado en los siglos XI y XII como un paradigma de la salvación del alma. En primer lugar, se confecciona un detallado estado de la cuestión sobre los posicionamientos historiográficos relacionados con la posible influencia del Ordo commendationis animae. A continuación, se enumeran algunos textos exegéticos en los que se trata sobre el carácter funerario del profeta y su vinculación con el Juicio Final y la resurrección. En relación a esta última, se comentan varios lugares en los que la condena de Daniel aparece representada junto a la visitatio Sepulchri. Tras ello, se analizan varios ejemplos en los que esta condición salvífica del profeta motiva la presencia de donantes a su lado.
[eng] In this article different reasons why the prophet Daniel was considered in the eleventh and twelfth centuries as a paradigm of the salvation of the soul are analyzed. In the first place, a detailed state of the question on the historiographical positions related to the possible influence of the Ordo commendationis animae is made. Following are some exegetical texts that deal with the funerary nature of the prophet and its connection with the Last Judgment and the resurrection. In relation to the latter, several places in which Daniel's condemnation is represented next to the Sepulchri visitatio are discussed. After that, several examples in which this salvific condition of the prophet motivates the presence of donors at his side are analysed.
