[cat] L’objectiu d’aquest treball és localitzar les torres de defensa de les masies de la comarca del Garraf (Catalunya) construïdes entre els segles XIV i XV i estudiar-ne els usos, les característiques i els canvis que han sofert al llarg del temps. També es proposa un model ideal de masia amb torre de defensa que es pot presentar als museus locals i la creació d’una ruta turística per les torres accessibles per revaloritzar aquest element patrimonial.
[eng] The aim of this project is to locate all the defence towers in farmhouses in the Garraf area (Catalonia) built between the 14th and 15th centuries and to study their use, characteristics and the changes they have gone through throughout the centuries. A model farmhouse with defence tower will be proposed which can be used in local museums, and a touristic route through the towers will be created in order to revalue this heritage.
