Criterios para la planificación de la iluminación patrimonial desde la Conservación

Abstract

[spa] La iluminación ornamental es una intervención directa en el patrimonio cultural y tal acción puede tener efectos dañinos en los materiales constituyentes y en la imagen del objeto. Este trabajo lo que pretende es establecer criterios aplicables en este tipo de intervenciones, basados en la conservación. Además, incluye una propuesta lumínica que podría ser un punto de partida para la posterior redacción del proyecto de iluminación ornamental y vial ambiental del conjunto histórico del Castillo de Cardona. Para ello es imprescindible estudiar la naturaleza de la luz, saber cuales son los efectos en los bienes culturales generados por la radiación y por la instalación de los sistemas de iluminación, conocer las normativas vigentes reguladoras y recomendaciones de los especialistas en esta disciplina, realizar un acercamiento en la planificación de la iluminación y buscar ejemplos que sirvan como referencia teniendo en cuenta las anteriores premisas. El presente estudio, ha podido comprobar que actualmente muchos proyectos de iluminación no son gestionados por profesionales de la conservación-restauración, no cumplen las normativas relacionadas en materia de alumbrado de patrimonio, ni tienen en cuenta las recomendaciones de los pocos profesionales en iluminación de monumentos dando lugar a imágenes nocturnas del patrimonio que distan de su imagen diurna y ponen en entredicho sus valores culturales.

[eng] The ornamental lighting is the direct intervention affecting historical heritage, buildings and works of art. Lighting can harm art work constituent materials and could have a negative effect on its image too. With this work I try to establish guidelines that we can apply to lighting based on art work preservation. Also, a lighting proposal for the Cardona Castle and its heritage and historical complex is included; this proposal is the starting point for this general and ornamental lighting Project. In order to understand this lighting project, we have to have in mind and study types of lighting and its effects on historical and heritage artworks also buildings structures, in addition study its effects on them like radiation, damage on installation processes, and finally respect applicable regulations and recommendations from experts on this field. In this study I planned the lighting project having examples as reference and having present all the point described earlier. In this study we have observed that most of historical heritage lighting projects, nowadays are not managed by conservation and restoration professional experts, neither, heritage regulations and recommendation are followed. This has a negative direct effect on the night image on most heritage and cultural monuments compared to their day light image.
