Abstract

In a relatively short period of time, the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) has been seized of a number of lawsuits which, broadly speaking, allege violations of the European Convention due to presumed breaches by various States Partics of their obligations to mitigate the greenhouse gases that cause climate change.
