[cat] Gran part de les històries familiars s’han preservat gràcies a fotografies i altres objectes quotidians.
Són dispositius considerats font documental que, suposadament, ens serveixen per rastrejar petjades reveladores d’emocions. Però l’individu actual ha estat envaït per un materialisme que ha generat una proliferació desmesurada d’objectes i fotografies amb el risc de produir una saturació que ens porti a una gestió de la memòria cap a l’oblit. El projecte Casa Palau de la Sinoga respon a la necessitat de posar en qüestió la facultat mediadora d’aquests arxius fotogràfics parentals i dels objectes de la vida diària per rememorar les experiències viscudes. Una obra que es configura a través de l’escultura d’un llit minimalista
i d’un retrat familiar de caràcter efímer, que evidencia metafòricament l’amnèsia implícita en les narratives visuals genealògiques i accentua la feblesa dels objectes que suposadament albergaven lapses suspesos en el temps.
[eng] Most family stories have been preserved thanks to photographs and other everyday objects. They are devices considered as documentary sources that, supposedly, are useful to trace revealing traces of emotions. But the current individual has been invaded by a materialism that has generated an excessive proliferation of objects and photographs with the threat of producing a saturation that leads us to a memory management towards oblivion. The Casa Palau de la Sinoga project responds to the need to question the mediating faculty of these parental photo archives and the objects of daily life to recall the experiences that have been lived through. A work that is configured through the sculpture of a minimalist bed and a family portrait of an ephemeral nature, which metaphorically evidences the implicit amnesia in the genealogical visual narratives and emphasizes the weakness of the objects that supposedly held lapses suspended in time.
