Abstract
[spa] Esta investigación se propone exponer y analizar el proceso de integración de España en la OTAN entre los años 1976 y 1982 a través del periódico El País. Mi hipótesis principal es que el proceso de integración de España en la OTAN forma parte del proceso de la Transición. Establecer en qué medida esta integración interactuó en el proceso transitivo de la Dictadura a la Democracia pone en el valor esta investigación más allá del hecho de la incorporación de España en esta estructura internacional. Por esta razón mi tesis forma parte también de este proceso histórico que entendemos como Transición. Al analizar el contexto internacional, marcado por la Guerra Fría, este estudio también puede enmarcarse en este proceso histórico, por dos razones, por este contexto que ofrezco, pero también por ser el proceso de integración de España en la OTAN, y el proceso transitivo, parte de esta historia global que fue la Guerra Fría. El hecho que utilice como fuente el periódico El País, esta investigación también podría considerarse la del estudio de un medio de comunicación. En este caso no en su totalidad, pero sí con respecto a un tema en concreto como es el de la integración de España en la OTAN, en otras palabras: cómo y de qué manera fue tratado esta cuestión en un determinado medio de comunicación.
[eng] This research aims to expose and analyze the process of integration of Spain into NATO between 1976 and 1982 through the newspaper El País. My main hypothesis is that the process of Spain's integration into NATO is part of the Transition process. Establishing to what extent this integration interacted in the transitional process from Dictatorship to Democracy places value on this research beyond the fact of the incorporation of Spain into this international structure. For this reason, my thesis is also part of this historical process that we understand as Transition. When analyzing the international context, marked by the Cold War, this study can also be framed in this historical process, for two reasons, for this context that I offer, but also for being the process of integration of Spain into NATO, and the transitional process , part of this global history that was the Cold War. The fact that it uses the newspaper El País as a source, this research could also be considered that of the study of a communication medium. In this case, not in its entirety, but with respect to a specific issue such as the integration of Spain into NATO, in other words: how and in what way was this issue dealt with in a certain media.
