Abstract
[spa] Bilbao es una de las muchas ciudades del estado donde quedan innumerables huellas tanto mentales como físicas de la Guerra Civil. Una muestra de esto último sería el importante número de refugios antiaéreos que quedan en su subsuelo y que fueron construidos como consecuencia directa de este conflicto. Así, los principales objetivos del presente trabajo serán la localización y el análisis espacial de los refugios bilbaínos de época republicana (1936-1937) tanto en un contexto global como desde una forma más específica: distrito por distrito. Para ello, será necesario conjugar documentación histórica, memoria oral y diversa cartografía de la época.
[eng] Bilbao is one of the many cities of the state where there remain countless footsprints, both physical and emotional, of the Spanish Civil War. A sample of this would be the large number of anti-aircraft shelters that remain in its subsoil and that were built as a direct consequence of this conflict. Thus, the main objectives of this paper will be the localization and the spatial analysis of the Bilbao shelters from the republican period (1936-1937) both in a global context and in a more specific way: district by district. For this, the use of historical documentation, oral memory and cartography from the era will be necessary.
