El diagrama del habitar

Abstract

[spa] Esta investigación utiliza como base y fundamento la vivienda para entender cómo las relaciones funcionales y características formales de los espacios que habitamos determinan nuestro comportamiento y forma de actuar en el mundo. El proyecto versa sobre los roles de género dentro de la vivienda mediante la memoria familiar. Este se desarrolla a través de una serie de obras gráficas e instalaciones donde se reconstruye el espacio privado para cuestionar y repensar los espacios que habitamos en el presente. El proyecto invita a reflexionar sobre el habitar rutinario, que pasa desapercibido como las estructuras jerárquicas y roles, características que propone evitar Zaida Muxí con el diseño de “la vivienda sin género”. La vivienda no solo es el lugar donde reposamos del mundo exterior, sino que es también la que nos forma para luego habitar en él.

[eng] This research uses housing as a basis and foundation to understand how the functional relationships and formal characteristics of the spaces we inhabit determine our behavior and way of acting in the world. The project is about gender roles within the home through family memory. This is developed through a series of graphic works and installations where the private space is reconstructed to question and rethink the spaces we inhabit in the present. The project invites us to reflect on routine living, which goes unnoticed as hierarchical structures and roles, characteristics that Zaida Muxí proposes to avoid with the design of “genderless housing”. The house is not only the place where we rest from the outside world, but it is also the one that forms us to later inhabit it.
