Pluralisme, diversitat i reconeixement de les minories a Polònia (1945-2015)

Abstract

[cat] Polònia a causa de la seva situació geogràfica i històrica va ser durant molts segles un territori caracteritzat per una gran diversitat cultural, ètnica i religiosa, diversitat que des de la Segona Guerra Mundial ha anat disminuint fins a convertir-se actualment en un dels països del continent europeu més homogenis pel que fa a la seva població. Més enllà dels efectes que van tenir la Segona Guerra Mundial i l’Holocaust sobre les minories del país, el govern va desenvolupar des de 1945 diverses accions i polítiques que van afavorir la reducció de les comunitats. El present treball, basat en la recerca bibliogràfica, mostra diversos estudis sobre l’evolució de la comunitat jueva i ucraïnesa a Polònia i el rol jugat per l’Estat fins a la consolidació de la democràcia al país.

[eng] Poland, because of its geographical location and history, has been during centuries a territory characterized by its cultural, ethnic and religious diversity. A diversity that has ebbed since the Second World War and the Holocaust, making Poland one of the most homogeneous countries of Europe. Beyond the effects of the Second Word War and the Holocaust on the minorities, the government has since 1945 developed different actions and policies that have favoured the reduction of the communities. This work, based on a bibliographical research, aims to elucidate, by means of different studies, the evolution of the Jewish and Ukrainian minorities in Poland and the role the State until the consolidation of the democracy.
