Abstract
[en] Bankruptcy problems appears when a company goes to bankrupt and with his assets can not cope with the demands of creditors. In this essay we will focus on study how to distribute the assets among the plaintiffs. We will mention the main distribution rules and we will focus on study the implementation of the Talmudic rule proposed by Tsay and Yeh (2019) and the alternative version suggested by Moreno-Ternero et al. (2020).
We will see the differences between both implementations and we will demonstrate that using backward induction the rules proposed by both correspond to the payout of the Talmudic rule. Finally, we’ll briefly mention that it is also possible do the implementation for the whole family of the Talmudic rule.
