[cat] Aquest treball de final de grau es centra en la ciència i la participació ciutadana en el
cas de la meteorologia a Catalunya. En concret es fa una anàlisi del contingut
multimèdia (fotografies i vídeos) que pengen els ciutadans i aficionats a la secció de
meteorologia de TV3. L’objectiu principal és analitzar i geolocalitzar tot aquest
contingut.
El treball consta d’una primera part on s’explica què és la ciència ciutadana, tot posanthi
exemples ja sigui d’astronomia, de biodiversitat o de meteorologia. Així també com
una recopilació de les formes de divulgar la meteorologia al llarg de la història per part
dels mitjans de comunicació i el lligam amb la participació ciutadana.
Després trobem l’apartat d’anàlisi, on s´analitza el tipus de contingut multimèdia
aportat. S’estudia detalladament els dies i/o situacions meteorològiques en què
s’aporta més contingut, així com els que menys. Per altra part, es fa una geolocalització
de tot aquest contingut multimèdia. Finalment es torna a analitzar totes aquestes
dades excloent-hi les dels usuaris que en pengen més. Tot aquest anàlisi ens permet
arribar a confirmar certes hipòtesis i a desmentir-ne d’altres. D’entre les quals
destacaria el major nombre de participacions a la meitat est de Catalunya respecte la
meitat oest.
[eng] This final degree project is about the citizen science and the citizen participation in meteorology in Catalonia. I am going to do an analysis of the multimedia content (photographs and videos) uploaded by citizens and amateurs in the meteorology section of TV3. The main objective is to analyse and geolocate all this content. The first part of the work consists in explains how what citizen science is, and gives examples of astronomy, biodiversity and meteorology. And then it explains what meteorology has been communicated by the media throughout the ages and how is it related to citizen participation. This is followed by an analysis of the type of multimedia content. There is a detailed analysis of the days and/or meteorological situations on which the most content is provided. On the other hand, there is a geolocation of the multimedia content. Finally, there is another analysis of the data, excluding the users who participate the most. All this analysis allows us to confirm certain hypotheses and disprove others. One conclusion is that the number of participations from the eastern part of Catalonia is higher than the participations of the western part.
